No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the world KTM, world’s number one motorcycle manufacturer, launched its first two motorcycle models in Bangladesh in partnership with Runner Automobiles Ltd. KTM officially launched the KTM 125 Duke & KTM RC 125 in a grand ceremony that took place at the Runner Automobile factory, Bhaluka, Mymensingh.

KTM is an Austrian motorcycle brand that was established in 1934. KTM, a pioneer in motorcycle sports, has been known as a leader for decades. KTM employs over 3000 people across the globe, with five global divisions: KTM USA (UK), KTM India KTM Russia KTM Africa, KTM Asia, KTM Russia, KTM Russia, KTM Africa, KTM Russia, KTM Russia, KTM Africa and KTM Asia. Bajaj Auto & Pierer Mobility AG are the current main shareholders.

KTM Duke 125 European Edition : KTM Duke 125 European Edition – The KTM Duke 125 European Edition has a more elegant design than the European version. The bike is equipped with an aggressive headlight design. The headlight uses LEDs. The light is sufficient to get around at night. The LED lights of all other lights can also be used. The indicators themselves are slim and minimalistic.

The KTM Duke 125 European features a TFT display in the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster gives riders all they need every day. The main components of the instrument cluster include the speed, distance traveled, time, range, and fuel consumed. But if you dig a little deeper, there are many options to customize the cluster, including mode, settings, Bluetooth and much more. The control for the TFT is on the left of the handlebar. This ensures that riders don’t have their hands off the throttle.

KTM Duke 125 European features a 4-stroke 4 valve, single-cylinder, 125cc engine. The engine can be fuel-injected or liquid-cooled, which is a huge advantage for the bike. The engine puts out 15BHP of power at 9250rpm. It also produces 12Nm torque at 8000rpm. The engine is large, so the torque figure can get a bit high. On average, the bike is expected to get around 41kmpl (Company claims). Bosch EMS (Engine Management System) is included with the engine.

KTM Duke 125 European features a basic wet multiplate clutch system. However, the bike does NOT have a slipper throttle like the Yamaha R15. KTM Duke 125 European features a 6-speed transmission and a speed of around 120kmph.

KTM RC 125 Indian ABS: The KTM RC 125 Indian is a fast setup. The handlebars and color scheme are all indicators that the rider intends to go to the racetrack. But, Bangladeshis don’t have access to a racetrack so we just need to use the highway. We must, however, follow traffic rules before we cross the red line.

KTM RC 125 Indian comes equipped with a powder coated steel Trellis frame. Sounds familiar? It is. The Steel Trellis frame, which was inherited by the bike’s elder brother, KTM RC 200 Indian, is used. This bike frame is bigger than the KTM Duke 125 Indian engine. This bike is a match made in Heaven, as it’s as smooth as the Duke but as fun to flip around after a corner like the RC 200.

KTMRC125 (Indian), also receives full LED treatment. The LED projector headlights are used as the headlight. The headlight has two distinct parts. One is the high beam while the other is the low beam. The indicators are also minimalistic. An additional pair of DRL are located on the front of your bike.

KTM RC 125 Indian has the same engine, but it is tuned to be a lot more aggressive. It is equipped with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with four valves, 125cc motor, and a single cylinder. The engine is both fuel-injected and liquid-cooled, which are big plus points.

The engine generates 14.8BHP of power at 9500rpm. It also produces 12Nm torque when it is at 8000rpm. Although the power is impressive, the engine’s small size can affect the torque figures. On average, the bike is expected to get 41kmpl (Company claim). Bosch EMS (Engine Management System) is included with the engine.

KTM’s RC 125 India comes with a basic wet multiplate clutch system. The Yamaha R15 V slipper clutch is not available on this bike. KTM RC 125 Indian comes with a 6-speed gearbox. It has an estimated top speed of 125kmph.

KTM Duke 125 Indian : The KTM Duke 125 Indian, which is less appealing of the two bikes, is the KTM Duke 125 Indian. The bike’s headlight is much simpler and more rounded than the European version.

The headlights are fully Halogen. The headlight can be used to lighten up at night. All other lights in the system are LED. The indicators themselves are slim and minimalistic.

KTM Duke 125 Indian features a basic LED display with an orange backlight. It continues the Orange theme. The instrument cluster lists all information. The basic contents of the cluster are RPM (relative speed), fuel consumption, time and indicator for gear position. But, riding enthusiasts can expand their options with the mode button.

KTM Duke 125 Indian features a 4-stroke 4 valves, single-cylinder engine and 125cc motor. The engine can be fuel-injected or liquid-cooled. These are major plus points. The engine puts out 15BHP of power at 9250 rpm and 12Nm torque when it is at 8000 rpm. The engine’s large size means that the power output is impressive, but the torque figures can be a bit low. The average mileage for the bike is between 40 and 45kmpl. Bosch EMS (Engine Management System) comes standard on the engine.

KTM Duke 125 Indian uses a basic wet multiplate clutch system. However, the Yamaha R15 doesn’t have a slipper-clutch. KTM Duke 125 Indian features a 6-speed transmission and a top speed of around 110-115kmph.

Bangladesh’s motorcycle manufacturing industry has so far been more inclined towards producing commuter segment models. There is more demand for motorcycles in Bangladesh than luxury, and this has led to a decrease in motorcycle sales.

However, motorcycles have become more popular in recent years as they are now able to be used for both long rides on weekends and short trips. Bikers are becoming more attentive to the technical details and specifications of their two-wheelers. KTM entered the scene with both scenarios in mind.

The well-respected company will play a key role thanks to its top-class engineering abilities and market-aligned outlook, which has the potential for customers from all walks of life to be served with perfection.
